On October 15, 2026, Google announced AI Inbox expansion to paid Workspace accounts in the US using EN-US. This extends access to an existing product.
Who could benefit
A business owner seeking an additional way to review email-related tasks. First check whether your account meets the access requirements.
The schedule matters
Rapid Release started October 12; Scheduled Release is planned from October 26. Each rollout can take up to 15 days. Starter and Education editions will follow in the coming months.
What the overview leaves out
The help page describes the feature as beta. AI Inbox uses the Primary tab, excluding archived, deleted, snoozed and muted emails and spam. Attachments, delegated inboxes and encrypted emails are unsupported. Smart features must be enabled; initial results can take up to seven days.
Check it against one task
Editorial recommendation: retain your usual commitments list and compare it with AI Inbox suggestions. Open the source email for each item and verify the deadline, owner and latest agreement. Review attachments and other mail tabs separately.
An illustrative example: a supplier discusses a delivery but puts the final date in an attached document. Do not infer the deadline solely from an AI suggestion. This is a proposed check, not a Nadali test result.
Bottom line
Use the overview as an additional way to find tasks. A missing suggestion does not establish that no commitment exists. Nadali has not tested the feature in a work account.
