Zoom Contact Center: check app compatibility before November 14

A practical check for businesses using Zoom Contact Center: inventory apps, identify a responsible contractor and document a support fallback.

On October 29, Zoom announced a Contact Center interface migration from October 30. To use the center-panel workspace after the planned November 14 change, all Zoom Apps in an account must support its layout; client 7.2.0+ is required. We have not verified migration completion in individual accounts.

Who should act

Business owners whose support teams already use Zoom Contact Center with additional apps. An ordinary video-meeting subscription is insufficient: the help page lists a Contact Center license and administrative privileges for configuration.

This is workspace-compatibility news, not a new AI model launch. The help page describes AI Expert Assist and the checklist as separate interface areas. Moving controls does not establish new assistant capabilities.

What to ask the responsible person

The following is our editorial check proposal, not a test we performed.

  1. List the apps, queues and providers your support team relies on.
  2. Ask the contractor whether each app supports the new placement. Keep the answer and the version they checked.
  3. In an agreed test interaction without personal data, check that the app opens, necessary information can be found and work can be completed.
  4. Record a fallback procedure for staff when their familiar window is unavailable. Do not replace missing information with an AI guess.

Availability and limits

The developer instructions cover SDK, app-context and embedding requirements. Give them to the technical owner; do not change website security headers by trial and error just to make a window appear.

The help page still describes manual enablement through Feature Release Controls, while the dated notice announces a general migration. Check your actual account state; Nadali does not confirm an identical state across customers.

The takeaway: verify compatibility and the support fallback before the next stage. Sources read November 2, 2026; no customer-account test was performed. The cover is a reused conceptual AI illustration, not Zoom’s interface.
