On October 28, Google announced that AI Mode ads were scaling to ten more markets: Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Singapore. It also announced the launch of ads in follow-up conversation queries in the US.
Who benefits
Business owners already advertising products or services to customers in these markets. According to Google Ads Help, existing Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns are automatically eligible for relevant auctions. A separate campaign is unnecessary; this guarantees neither impressions nor sales.
Advertisers cannot exclude AI Mode separately from Search or target only that experience. Negative keywords and brand exclusions remain available. Metrics are included in aggregate campaign and search-term reports.
What to review with your marketer
Our recommendation is to check existing settings before increasing spending:
- Compare campaign countries with where you can actually fulfill orders or provide services.
- Review exclusions and current prices, deadlines and terms on landing pages.
- Ensure the team agrees on what counts as a conversion and does not equate a click with a sale.
- Record the change date, budget and other simultaneous changes. Do not attribute a difference between two periods solely to AI Mode.
Illustrative scenario: a small manufacturer sells to Canada but does not deliver everywhere in the country. Delivery promises need checking before expanding advertising. This is not a measured case study.
Access and limits
The help page lists English; Pakistan supports text ads only. Brazil, Mexico and the UK remain a Q4 2026 plan in the announcement. Ukraine is not in the named ten-market expansion; the help page’s list may be incomplete. Do not infer availability in every account.
Nadali read the sources on October 31, has not tested an advertising account and does not confirm improved performance. The takeaway: review controls for existing advertising before new spending.
