Canva announced Brush for supported design editing in Canva AI on Pro. The Canva Research index dates the publication October 30, 2026; Nadali read the sources on October 31.

What changed

According to Canva, users can select Brush from Canva AI’s model list to work with an existing design. Examples include changes across multiple pages; the result remains manually editable. Brand Kit support and wider availability are still planned.

This is separate from Craft image generation in Dream Lab.

Who benefits

Owners of cafés, shops and service businesses who update several pages of a commercial proposal themselves. The practical opportunity is to try a shared edit without abandoning page-by-page review.

Illustrative scenario: a café wants to change heading styles throughout a short services catalogue. This is not a measured real-world case.

Review sequence

Our editorial recommendation:

  1. Keep the original version and work on a copy.
  2. Write down one requested change and what must remain unchanged: prices, contacts, dates and terms.
  3. After editing, compare every page with the original. Separately read small text and check element placement.
  4. Approve the final file before sending it to customers or printing.

Limits and takeaway

Do not assume support for every operation, account or branded template. The announcement does not give a complete language or country list or an exact allowance; check access in your own account. We have not tested Brush or confirmed time savings.

The takeaway: treat the change as a draft to review, not automatically finished advertising. Cover: a reused Nadali AI illustration, not a Brush output.
